Background
Dr. Manil Fernando, MBBS (Manipal), MD (Surgery – Colombo), MRCS (England), is a Sri Lankan national and a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon and corporate leader with over 20 years of cross-sector expertise. In addition to his medical leadership roles at Asiri Surgical Hospital and the Police Hospital of Sri Lanka, he serves as a Director of Stallion Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd, bringing strategic insight and governance experience. Dr. Fernando also holds key positions in healthcare governance, maritime services, and sports medicine, combining clinical excellence with business acumen across multiple high-impact industries.
Dr. Fernando also currently serves as the Honorary Consul-General of Latvia in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
